Red banana
- Red bananas are shorter, thicker and denser than yellow bananas. They are creamier on the palate, with a very subtle aroma reminiscent of raspberries or red berries, sometimes mangoes.
- The unusual color of bananas is due to the high content of beta-carotene, which is good for eye health. Also in the composition there are a large number of various mineral salts (iron, potassium), fiber, vitamins A and C.
- A ready-to-eat banana has a soft dark red peel, darkened flesh with a scarlet tint. Green or light yellow stripes indicate immaturity. The skin may even be slightly brown.
- According to health experts, they are far healthier than the regular banana and have a different nutritional profile.
